Avery at 4 Months

We had Avery's 4 month Dr. Appointment yesterday. I had to have a little pep-talk with Lilly before we left because at the last appointment she had a major melt down when the nurse gave Avery her shots. It was actually very sweet, but a little stressful for me because Lilly was the bigger handful than Avery. When they were giving Avery her shots at her 2 month appointment Lilly sat in a corner sobbing and yelling at the nurse to stop hurting her sister. This time we were a little better prepared and the nurse gave Lil some candy right before she administered the shots. Avery was a champ and she sure is growing.

She weighed 13lbs. 6 oz. (25-50%)
25 inches long (75%)
and her head was 16 1/4 inches around.(50%)

Developmentally she is coming right along too. She rolled over for the first time from her tummy to her back January 23rd. (The day after she turned 4 months.) She is starting to grasp objects and she LOVES to chat and get any kind of attention possible. We've started giving her rice cereal at night before bed. As of now, she's not too crazy about it, but we're working on it.

I took some pictures of my little sweetie on Tuesday morning. She is such a little dollie.

She's so cute!!! Georgey would always get so disturbed about Grayam getting his shots, we just started having to take him out of the room before hand. I can't believe how big Avery is already!!
