The day after Thanksgiving was my dear friend, Wendy's wedding. She was sealed for time and all eternity in the Columbia River Temple. It reminded me of my very own wedding just over four years ago. What a cold, BEAUTIFUL day! I think she might be the most stunning bride I have ever laid eyes on....and her hubby is not too shabby either. :)
Introducing...Mr. and Mrs. Lance Archibald!
Gorgeous in everyway!
They look like a Barbie and Ken Doll. After the reception Shane had to ask me if Lance wore man makeup. I laughed and said...no honey...some people are just VERY blessed!!!

Oh, I love my Wendy!
The Bridesmaids decked out in our gold dresses.
I love these silly pictures at weddings.
The gangs all here!
Big thank you to Amber for taking all these pictures and for hanging out with me all day.
Next time we'll be at your wedding Ambie.

Swim Lesson Fridays

Lilly and I go to swim lessons each Friday. It has been so fun! When I tell Lil we are going to the pool she runs and gets her swim diaper and puts it on top of whatever she is wearing. It is hilarious. I've learned not to tell her we are going to the pool until right before we leave. She calls her swim suit a swim SOUP. She is too cute.
This is Lil after her lesson. She loves her new purple rain boots from Target. I'll miss our swim lesson Fridays.

Happy Birthday Jenn
It's my sister, Jennie's, birthday today. I wanted to honor her by sharing a couple of my favorite memories with her.
I'll never forget when you came to the hospital after I had Lilly and stayed the night with me. I felt so relaxed to have you with me. You even brought me my very favorite ham chowder soup. You were the perfect example of a good mother.
I'll never forget our special times while you were living at the funeral home in Pullman. I remember, movies, always good food, laundry, games, quilting, crying, and LAUGHING. I truly do believe the reason my water broke with Lilly 2 weeks early was because you made me laugh so hard the night before.
I found this little birthday poem and although it's a bit corny, it says it all.
You're more to me than my sister
You are also my best friend
You're always there for me
For an ear or a shoulder to lend
You're the first to hear of my joys
It's you I go to if I've had a bad day
I love you more than I have words
To express myself or say
I love you Jennie.

My BFF is Getting Married
My lifelong friend, Wendy, will no longer be Wendy Potter any longer. She will be Wendy Archibald. Weird. Exciting. I just love LOVE.
My sweet mother and I put on a bridal shower for her. We had a great turn out. It was a beautiful morning.
I snapped a couple pictures before guests arrived of the tables. I think my mom's house is so gorgeous.
Here is my mom's idea of food for a bridal shower. This just shows how different we are. It's all about presentation to her. She asked me how I was going to serve the coffee cake that I made and I told her I was just going to leave it in the pan, cut it into pieces and put a spatula on top for guests to dig in. Ha ha ha ha...that's didn't go over too well. :)
Amber Lou and her Mommy. More lifelong friends of Wendy's.
Most of the guests arrived right when the shower started and we were missing the bride.

The Bride!!! Ta-dah! And she came all blinged out in her grandma's jewelry. She looked amazing as you can clearly testify.
More Guests chit chatting. Love was definitely in the air.
Three of my closest friends growing up. It was so much fun to catch up.
I had to post this picture because I think it's so much more like us. We are just four goofy girls at heart...and my heart loves you all.

Carrie's Baby Shower
My dear friend, Carrie, is having baby #2 and if you can't tell by the pictures...IT'S A GIRL!!!
We filled the little Northwood Office to celebrate little baby Crosland.
We did a brunch so we had lots of yummy breakfast treats and Erin made a baby carriage out of a pumpkin. It turned out so cute.
Leslie had us play...guess how big Carrie's tummy is. Talia won.
Katie, McCall and Carrie.
Little Crosland is going to be styling in all her new clothes. I just love little girl clothes.
Now she just needs to make her grand arrival. I can't wait to meet her. It was such a fun morning.
