Pumpkin Party

Tonight a couple of us girls got together and carved pumpkins. I haven't carved a pumpkin since I was a kid. I surprised myself with how much I enjoyed it. I even liked the feel of the 'guts' in my hands. I love all the fall festivities.

I'm so excited to post pictures of her this year! Oh, and the costume from last year fits her like a glove this year. She loves to dress up in her skunk costume.

Oh Yeah it's Ladies Night...

I have anticipated this night for weeks. I think I even dreamt about it. And I'm pretty sure I almost cried last weekend when I thought I was going to have to miss our GIRLS NIGHT! (Luckily we rescheduled.) Five of my sweet friends got together and we went out to dinner and went bowling. Here's the exciting part---without kids and husbands. It was a delight.

Our hostess at our local Mongolian BBQ was kind enough to snap this shot, although she was altogether questionable in every way. We all thought she was a bit 'high on life'--if you know what I mean...

Carrie eight months pregnant and you can't even tell from the back. She is stunning pregnant and not pregnant for that matter.

It was such a fun night and I have to thank all the husbands for watching our kids. I'll start dreaming about our next girls night right now.

Lil & Addy at the Pumpkin Patch

Last weekend Shane, Lil and I headed into the Tri-Cities to get a few things done. Luanne made Lilly her Halloween costume---the cutest poodle skirt ever and my Mom worked on my bridesmaid dress that I'll be wearing in about a month for my friend, Wendy's wedding. It was a productive weekend. I so appreciate every one's help. Luanne watched Lilly for pretty much the whole day on Saturday while I was at my Mom's making invitations for Wendy's bridal shower and Shane went with his buddy, Jared, golfing. While Luanne had Lil, she took her to the pumpkin patch with cousins Addisyn, Harper, and Aunt Ariel and Uncle Alex. Ariel sent me these pictures and they are just beautiful. I'm so sad I missed out.





I just have to say that my child hates getting her picture taken, while Addisyn is incredibly photogenic. Pretty funny, I think. Thanks Ariel.
